Television Curation
We assess your room's light, seating distance and layout, then shortlist panels from our catalogue that genuinely suit the space — no upselling sizes that overwhelm it.
Picture Calibration
Each screen is tuned in your home, not in a showroom. We adjust colour temperature, gamma and motion handling so evening films and daytime broadcasts both look natural.
Wall & Room Installation
Stud-safe mounting, concealed cable runs and soundbar or speaker pairing. We leave the room cleaner than we found it, and we walk you through every input before we go.
The Screenworks Care Plan
An annual visit to re-check calibration, update settings, inspect mounts and answer questions. Members also get priority scheduling and a direct line to your installer.
Founded by two broadcast engineers who missed good pictures
Halden Screenworks began in a Bristol workshop in 2014, after founders Nora Halden and Elias Rowe grew tired of seeing superb panels ruined by bright walls, wrong sizes and factory settings. A decade on, our approach hasn't changed: measure the room first, choose the screen second, and tune everything by eye and instrument on the day.
The room leads
Lighting, wall colour and seating decide the specification. We design around your home rather than asking your home to work around a television.
Honest guidance
If a smaller, simpler screen is the right answer, that's what we recommend. Our quotes itemise everything, and we explain why each element is there.
Finished means finished
Cables hidden, settings labelled, remotes paired, household shown how it works. A job isn't signed off until everyone in the home is comfortable with it.

From first call to film night
Room consultation
A free 45-minute visit or video call. We photograph the space, note the light through the day, and talk about how you actually watch — sport, films, gaming, background news.
Written proposal
Within three working days you receive a shortlist of screens, mount options and an itemised quote. No pressure, no expiry countdown — take the time you need.
Installation day
Our two-person team fits, calibrates, conceals and demonstrates. Most homes are finished in a single visit, and we return after two weeks for a free follow-up check.
